Our founding partners can draw from vast experience of more than 300 completed transactions, many of them cross-border deals. The size range has been from some tens of millions to the largest deals in the Finnish corporate history, some of which have been public takeovers.
Over the years, we have worked with nearly all listed Finnish companies. We also cover the largest privately owned companies and PE community and have advised many investors in inbound transactions.
Jukka has over 30 years of experience in M&A, financing and private equity. Before co-founding Sisu Partners, he worked for 15 years in CapMan Buyout, of which 11 years as partner. In CapMan he executed a wide range of M&A transactions and was responsible for several investee companies, including implementation of their M&A strategy with series of add-on acquisitions. His previous positions include financing in Rautaruukki and credit analyses in Postipankki (currently Danske Bank). He has extensive experience in M&A transactions and negotiations, transaction finance as well as in active strategy and board work as chairman and member of the boards of directors within wide range of different industries. Jukka holds an M.Sc. (Econ.) from Aalto University School of Business.
Juha has over 35 years of investment banking and M&A experience. He started his career in Union Bank of Finland in 1989 and has worked at Mandatum & Co from its inception in 1992, during 1999-2003 as its CEO. Afterwards Juha acted as the Chairman and CEO of Aventum Partners Oy in 2003-2012. His investment banking experience is one of the most extensive in Finland, having advised in over 150 M&A transactions for both international groups and small Finnish companies across various industries. Juha has also advised companies in capital market and financing transactions including IPO’s and Public Takeovers. Juha is a member in Helsinki Takeover Board and he has been a member of the working group drafting the current takeover recommendation. Juha holds an M.Sc. (Econ.) degree and CEFA (EFFAS, Hanken).
Jori-Pekka has over 10 years of experience in investment banking . Before joining Sisu in August 2019, he worked at Summa Capital, ALM Partners and Aktia Bank. Jori-Pekka holds an M.Sc. (Econ.) from Hanken School of Economics.
